The Markets business helps our clients formulate, implement and operationalize their investment strategies. It provides clients with financing, execution, liquidity and collateral solutions that are integrated with BNY’s asset servicing ecosystem. The Markets division is primarily organized into four Lines of Business: i) Foreign Exchange; ii) Securities Finance; iii) Liquidity and Margin Services; and, iv) Fixed Income and Equities (FIEQ)

BNY is expanding its EMEA FIEQ trading capabilities with our recently launched Dublin-based FIEQ trading desk focused on serving our EU client base. We are seeking a Salesperson to join our team and contribute to delivering superior client outcomes and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a key stakeholder in the commercial engagement in the FIEQ Sales business for BNY’s European client franchise and driving meaningful growth.
- Collaborate internally across multiple BNY LoBs including but not limited to Execution Services, Asset Servicing Division, Global Client Management, Wealth and Treasury Services, to originate, qualify and execute on new business opportunities.
- Work closely with FIEQ Sales, Trading and Product teams to drive volumes within the European franchise and facilitate the growth ambitions of the newly established EU desk.
- Uphold a robust risk management and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Several years sales coverage and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and business improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.

**A day in the life of a National Account Manager .**
You will be responsible for the full management and accountability of the customer / category/ format P&L, including Sales Revenue, Trade Spend, Promotional ROI, Market Share and Profit targets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
+ Developing and leading the negotiation of the annual Customer Business Plans which deliver against internal and external strategies & KPI
+ Analysing of data sets (EPOS, Nielson, CIM, SRM) to build commercial plans which optimise KPI delivery
+ The timely and accurate execution of Customer Plans, providing excellent communication to Customers, completing all required internal and external documentation and alignment to ensure perfect execution of customer plans
+ Lead Customer Contact Strategy and build powerful relationships cross functionally at appropriate levels
+ Deploy customer, shopper and category insight to identify optimum portfolio mix for the customer and shopper. Lead cross functional teams to deliver portfolio range for customer
+ Lead customer negotiations with full alignment on variables and deliverables with Commercial Development Team
+ Own and develop promotional plan to include revenue, trade spend & promotion activation details including, timing, mechanics & estimated amount sold on deal (uplift &/or total)
+ The timely participation and input into all relevant internal planning processes (weekly, monthly and quarterly) / Monthly Business Planning (MBP). Utilise multiple data sets to create guidance to build understanding of external performance dynamics
+ The timely delivery of monthly and/or weekly category reporting using systems as Nielsen and Dunnhumby etc
+ Responsible for the completion of promotional pre and post-evaluation (to included commentary and proof of execution) and optimisation in conjunction with SRM throughout the year to drive ROI and as an input into QIR.
**What will make you successful**
To be successful, you'll already have a fantastic breadth of sales or commercial experience under your belt ideally within FMCG categories. You will be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for our Nestlé brands, you will have commercial capability and have experience of influencing across all levels. It's a given that you will know the importance of being able to flex your style whilst working in an environment that can be, at times, ambiguous.
You will also:
+ Have previous P&L budget responsibility

+ Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

**Essential Responsibilities**
+ _Customer & End-user Sales Visits_ : Prioritize and lead visits to key direct customers and end users, to position pharmaceutical packaging products, promote sales and gather market intelligence.
+ _Advisor's role on packaging materials_ : Network with key Pharmaceutical stakeholders in the areas Packaging Development, Drug Formulation, Packaging Operations, Supply Chain and Marketing departments and provide advice, help resolve problems, overcome obstacles specific to packaging material.
+ _Market Analysis_ : Compile information from internal and public information sources to identify attractive customers and applications. Support new product development activities with pharmaceutical market research by conducting customer interviews, attending industry events to understand unmet customer needs. Translate customer needs into new product development ideas
+ _New Customer Acquisition_ : Utilize market research to identify, prioritize and win new customers as well as position new products to customers in the pharmaceutical industry.
+ _New Product Development_ : Use market insights to initiate and lead new product development projects. Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to launch new products. Use analytical tools to maximize value derived by customers and value captured by the company.
+ _Competitor Analysis_ : Monitor the activities of competitive materials suppliers as well as competitive distributors. Draw insights from information and run scenarios to develop appropriate competitive responses.
+ _Marketing Communications_ : Assist in the development of marketing communications programs for each market segment
+ Travel: 50% mostly within Europe with occasional travel to the US
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor degree in Business and/or Science or Engineering
+ Relevant experience in Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing Operations, R&D Operations or related technically complex industries (B2B) is a must
+ A minimum of 5+ years total business experience in primary packaging materials, background or experience in selling/purchasing/marketing in the pharmaceutical and/or medical industry
+ Experience in pharmaceutical drug stability, drug formulation, excipients, drug delivery systems, contract research, packaging design and/or drug dossier development
+ Significant, demonstrated expertise in developing and nurturing relationships with new customers
+ Strong executive presence, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
+ Excellent negotiation skills with sound business judgment
+ Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities to allow the candidate to quickly assess situations and opportunities
+ Problem solving abilities and passion
+ Ability to work within a multi-functional, global team structure and motivate team members and peers with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
