We currently have an open position for a Qualified Accountant who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a small or medium-sized Irish Accounting practice.
The Candidate profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA), trained in a practice environment, and with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Irish Accounting firm, dealing with all areas of general practice.
- Experience in working with a portfolio of clients. Experience in leading Audit assignments, including audit team management, file reviews and reporting, on all types of assignments both at Company and Group level.
- Strong technical knowledge and an awareness of current issues/developments in the profession, experience of dealing with Irish and UK Company law and Tax law an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Experience with, and willingness to, manage and train junior staff members. Strong IT literacy and knowledge of MS Office and a range of accounting packages, preferably Relate suite, Xero, Sage50 etc.
- Willing to travel with short/medium term stays either in Ireland, UK or further afield.
- Ability to drive and access to a car would be a distinct advantage.
